Hi DCFC79
yes i did, as soon i checked my bank-tree spread sheet that it was a not a genuine purchase.
i hope that it was caught early enough as i am going on holiday in 2 weeks time but at least i use a separate prepaid currency card for the holiday just in case of any problems.debt free as of 1/10/2014 and loving it :j

Most fraudulent transactions are via legitimate retailers, I don't see your point.0 -

Update
it's a good job that the banks these days are open 24/7. I was called by the bank's fraud team at 9:30 am this morning to confirm what transactions i had actually made. As it appears that the thieves had tried to clear my account yesterday but the bank has already put stop on the card. And the account is under surveillance.
This is why everyone must check their account on a regular basis if not everyday at least or this could have turned into a really big problem as i am away on holiday in 3 weeks time and all the inconvenience that it causes.debt free as of 1/10/2014 and loving it :j

No as the card is fairly new and bank think it may have been hacked online from supplier I have used as there has been no direct attack on the account and at present all transactions have been committed on onlinedebt free as of 1/10/2014 and loving it :j
