waterproof camera case

I am looking at buying a waterproof case for my bits and pieces whilst on the beach - and in the water on holiday. Ideally one that takes a digital camera too so that I can take pictures without the worry of getting the camera wet.
Has anyone used the "aquapac" compact camera case - if so, would you recommend it?
Or are there any other recommended waterproof ( guaranteed!!) cases or pouches out there
Thanks!

I have a lowepro camera case that holds an SLR camera, a spare lens and memory cards/batteries. The case itself is 'showerproof', but it has a waterproof punch in a slot underneath that can be pulled out, and it covers the whole camera case making it waterproof. The case cost £29 about 6months ago. This is a link to the lowepro website http://www.lowepro.com/Products/Shoulder_Bags/allWeather/Nova_1_AW.aspx
It's not as big as it looks on the screen!

I've got the compact aquapac, and found it worked really well. It was even possible to fit my car key, a credit card and some money at the bottom of my camera!
You can check here to see if there's an aquapac that fits your camera - http://www.aquapac.net/ukstore/images/fit060811-camera.pdf
Just make sure your hands are completely dry and sand free when opening it.
The aquapac also comes in larger sizes called Whanganui which come with a shoulder strap - this is really useful if you're carrying a purse/wallet, passport, driving licence, mobile phone etc on the beach or on a boat.0
