Parking Ticket from CP Plus

I followed the #3 advice, thinking that when I got their response I would get a popla code and then appeal further. But they have not offered this. I don't want to pay them, this whole thing is absolutely ridiculous, BUT I am not legal-minded by any means so I'm not sure what my rights are or what my next actions should be: ignore future letters from now on/respond asking for popla/write to SW trains/complain to dvla or somebody else. I am worried about this being escalated through the courts all because I didn't pick the right steps (as it feels like there are so many different routes to go down and I have no idea which one is best).

the train Co (not the PPC) can press charges cfor trespass , but they have to lay the charges within 6 mths of the incident , I suggest 2nd class post ping pong , how many questions can you ask in the next 4 mths , and expect about a 2 week turn around for an answer?
