Hello,
I was wondering if there are any recommended cloud storage solutions beside Dropbox?
I currently use BT Cloud (free as a BT Broadband customer), but will have to move the Data as I am planning to move BB provider. We have multiple Devices in our household (Iphone, Ipad, Galaxy S5, Galaxy Tab) and I like the fact that with the BT Cloud all files get associated to the Device they were uploaded from. So I can view things either by File Type or by Device etc.
So now I have tried Dropbox, and I dislike the fact that all the Files from the multiple Devices gets dumped into the same "Camera Uploads" folder.
Any good cloud alternatives (or add on software to Dropbox) that will let me organize/view files by Devices, File Types etc.?
Thanks,
dsab

I don't use Dropbox, but can't you just create a subfolder for each device and sync the device's file with that folder?
I use Owncloud and have a Documents and a Photos folder which I sync with the corresponding folders on my PC. My phone syncs into another folder Documents/Phone.0 -
The Camera Uploads folder is only for the automatic backing up of photos.
For any other file you want to store in Dropbox you can put them in whatever folder you like, it's just like Windows Explorer. In fact, if you install the Windows app, it is Windows Explorer.
If you can't get on with Dropbox try Spideroak or Box.0 -
For me a SharePoint site works very well for storing and sorting files and documents into folders. It also allows my other designated users to edit the files and create new versions without disturbing the original. I have uploaded quite a few files on SharePoint from cloudappsportal without any size restrictions.0

There are so many choices, though I didn't know about Dropbox's device association feature - maybe it's new since I last used it.
Personally I use a mixture of OneDrive and SharePoint. Last time I encountered Box it seemed to have massive syncing issues (i.e. failing to sync) and support was almost non-existant.0 -
