Renting a washer dryer

Need to help a mate in Hull with finding a company that will let him rent a Washer Dryer for a student property
Any tips or recommendations will be appreciated
Reason for renting instead of buying is so all the repairs are covered by the company and not the landlord.

I would bother with a washer dryer. In my experience they do not dry very well at all. Usually they will only dry half of a wash load.

As said a washer dryer wouldn't be a good idea.
If there's more than 2 students they'd want a separate machine for washing and a tumble dryer for drying. If there's any more students the 4 hour cycle to wash and dry 2.5kg of clothes in a washer dryer is just too much use.
A single person could use around 2.5kg of washing per day it's not only clothes it's towels and bedding as well and not many people want to put a load on every single day.
My advice...get a big washing machine so they only need to put a load on 2-3 times per week. And...get a large dryer so they can dry them.:footie:Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
