Where can I buy this table?

Ok so this is bizarre - I've had my eye on a table for about a year now, which is on the DFS website (used in a picture of a sofa in a room), but they don't sell it and they don't know who does! How would I go about finding it? I called them a few months ago, and they gave me a DFS email address to ask about it, but they never responded. Any bright ideas? Link to website is below, but I've also linked a 'snip' picture, as I don't know if the website link will necessarily take you where it takes me...

Well, I'm not much of a handyman, I wouldn't know where to start, either sourcing the base / feet, or putting it together in a way that would be safe and sturdy. If anyone has any suggestions on how to do it, I might have a go I suppose. But it must be for sale somewhere surely? I can't even find anything remotely similar... :(

Well given the prices Im seeing. I thought you would employ a carpenter to construct a base ;)

I suppose it's a possibility, I do know some carpenters, Polish friends... Hmm maybe I'll think about this, then can have it exactly as I want... :)

Looking at the picture. It could be a standard curved table over a wooden base with feet.
They may have created it for the picture, hence you cant find one like it.
You could get creative and cannibalise another piece of furniture to create the base.
Kitchen worktop would be a good shout. someone was selling a lovely piece of beech work top on Gumtree the other week here, but I had nowhere to store it.
A piece like that, cut to size and stained to taste. At whatever feet you wish and decide on how the table will mount.

    EG: http://www.gumtree.com/p/other-household-goods/2400-x-900-x-40mm-beech-solid-wood-block-kitchen-worktop-brand-new-boxed/1129223132

Though an offcut would be cheaper

Isn't there a way of googling similar images?

There is but it's pretty hit and miss, and gave no luck for my pic. To use it, in Google, click 'Images', then either paste a URL to search for a picture from the web, or click on the camera to upload a picture to search for (which I find tends to work better). Enjoy! :)

Try combining this from Ikea with a base....

(sorry... working while posting... will update)

There are loads of curved glass top tables around, none that have a base. Problem I'm finding - they aren't part of the current range.

Habitat should do one... ebay is selling this and that link (for me) brings up lots of other offerings on ebay. like this one

    or this

This is the Habitat version, and the Azzuro range brings up a feast of coffee, side and decorative tables... M & S do this

All the above are the curved top, minus the base.
