Couldn't decide what to do for dins tonight, so I texted Mr LW a choice between egg fried rice or tagliatelle with tinned toms and hot dogs.:D
I'm still on soft food, as I still have horrendous ulcers, but I can cope with either of those meals. He's opted for tagliatelle.;)

Late posting DD2 has been here most of the day, we took her home as OH had an appointment with the Dr and we also needed library books. The mobile library will not be here in September, the driver is on holiday.

Laundry done, dried and put away. Sun and shadows the day, kept clouding over. The wind is getting up.

Evening all. Just a quickie on the ongoing saga of the gas fire! Mr Fire Shop man rang this afternoon and seemed overjoyed to tell me my elusive fire had just been delivered to the shop! So the fitter is coming on Sunday (hope it's not double time!!) to fit it so that I don't have to wait until next Friday! So not such a big delay after all. The lilies will have to find a new home yet again!

Its been a lovely day here today.
DH and I went shopping in Ald* this morning and then we went and picked a large shopping bag full of damsons. I think I will be making some jam and chutney and DH is thinking of wine. I think also we will be having a go at damson vodka.:D

Have done some washing so will do the ironing in a moment.

Been having pineapple, but these are some stubborn bu88ers, and absolutely h-u-g-e.:(
Might look for kiwi when we do out F&V run tomorrow.
