Painted over water stain, paint whiter the rest of ceiling?

Hello all,

I bought

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B000RMT82M?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00

and its a spray paint to cover up water stains. I used it, however the ceiling which now has the paint on covering the stain is whiter than the rest of the ceiling. What can I do?

I noticed that also the paint is in little bumps on the ceiling too. How can I rectify that?

Hope someone can help.

  • Did you expect the sealer to be an exact match? Repaint the ceiling, or if you've any of the original paint left, just paint over the affected area, although even that may not match if it's some time since the ceiling was last painted.

Not sure about the little bumps, will they sand off?
