Money- Well as the saying goes an English man's home is his castle. Its a place you should feel relaxed in. Combined that with the fact that people pay 100's of thousands of pounds for one, sellers ought to be honest about the home they are selling. Im up for fighting whoever ruins the peaceful enjoyment of my home.

Thank you so much for your support

I so agree and often tell myself "An Englishwomans home is her castle too and I should be able to feel Home here". I'm so glad I have been told what the last owner of my house thought of my neighbour - not a lot:rotfl:

Good luck then. You'll never be able to stop the noise and therefore the only thing you can do is sell up and move on.

They'll never get a fine, they'll never get the equipment confiscated...all they'll get is a letter through the post telling them they're making too much noise and to be considerate to their neighbours. They don't sound considerate enough to listen to the advice so nothing will happen.

There are laws. The council will have to issue an abatement order. They have to break that order. They'll be called in for mediation. They'll move the speaker so it doesn't cause a nuisance (something you could have just asked for in the first place). They'll break the order again. They'll be called in again for mediation. It'll never stop.

Yeah thats right just give up and let the Jeremy Kyle'ers win and ruin everyones lives, OP forget posters like this, keep fighting and you will get there in the end, I did.

Your neighbour's log cabin may well fall within permitted development under Class E. If the building has a double pitched roof (it slopes both sides), then the maximum allowable hieght is 4m from the ground to the top of the roof's pitch.
The shed itself can be 3.5m x 2.5m in size.

You can also cover up to 50% of your land with such buildings if you so wish ( but you cannot build forward of the front of your house).

HappyMJ has got it wrong about the powers of LA's and their EHOs. If you keep a log of every incident and raise a complaint with the LA, they will not ignore it. They will investigate and if they believe that they have enough evidence, they can apply to the Court for a closure order.

This would allow the LA to remove the occupiers and seal up the property for up to 3 months and the occupants would not be able to return within that period for any reason except a genuine emergency (and then only to allow a tradesman in to rectify the issue).
