Veka composite door

Could someone knowledgeable please give me any info on Veka composite doors, I was looking at the Solidor range but the quote was in the region of £2500 from my 2 nearest stockists, one of the stockists suggested a Veka equivalent for £1700 which he stated was almost as good as the Solidor. Is it really for £800 less?
I liked the Solidor in the showroom but the price is out my league, they didn't have a Veka at that time, the price is more acceptable but is the door?
Any info appreciated. Thanks

were do you live I buy doors all the time and on average pay £500 to £600 for composite door .
They probably charge general public £1000 , Veka are high quality but if you scan internet or papers loads doors for little money so some ones having a good do out of £2k for a door ,0 -
I should have added there are 2 full length sidepanels, half glass top, half composite bottom either side of the door.
What I was more concerned about was the quality of the door, there's almost nothing on a search on this site.
If it's a reasonable door (you're saying it's high quality) then I'll go search one out.
I'm in the West Midlands.

I've rang up a few more Solidor installers over the last couple of days and they are all coming in around the £2500 mark, so that is the price.
I've also looked at Door Stop and a local company to me which uses Sabre doors which are also coming in at around £1700, but they obviously feel a lesser quality to me than Solidor, but given the price difference they would.
But Veka on the other hand seem to possibly be a step up in quality for similar money, unfortunately the only stockists are miles and miles away.
I'm still interested in any other options.
