    Hello there,

I recently closed my credit card account with Sainsbury's Bank. I should add to keep an eye out for any trailing interest that may be due if you've not cleared a balance in full (I've seen examples on MSE where people have been caught out by this).

Just copy and paste the text into your Word Processor and edit the information (as required):

    Dear Sir/Madam,

I wish to close my AnyWorld Bank MasterCard account.

All outstanding repayments have been made to the account and the card destroyed securely along both the magnetic stripe and chip.

Thank you for helping me in the above enquiry.

    Yours faithfully,

Card has hardly been used, so no interest has ever been paid or is due. Thanks for the template!
