Been refused DLA for second time so this time going to tribnunal, sent forms off and got copy of GP report, this is what let me down. Have OA and Fibromyalgia for last 3yrs but only been with this GP for last year. We moved to be nearer our daughter because of my heath. What do I have to do now, do I need legal representation? I am going back to GP to explain more about my condition ( hope he takes more notice this time as he never seems interested in what I say) My daughter who is my carer is going with me
Any advice would be much appreciated

Hi Spring I don't have any advice for you but someone will be along shortly who will be able to advise you.
Just wanted to wish you the best of luck with your dla tribunal.

Recently won a tribunal without the help of my GP who is to be quite honest , useless, and it sounds as though you have the same problem. Get on to CAB as without the advice i had from them i would have lost. Go to the tribunal yourself and dont be afraid , just tell them how your illness affects you. Remember that most GPs dont like to do the DLAs job for them , tell the tribunal that your GP dosnt know you very well as was my case , she had only seen me walk from the surgery door to her desk so how could she appreciate my pain and disabilty. I found the 3 people on the tribunal panel very fair and understanding. But contact CAB and they know how to word a letter to the tribunal. Good luck0
