Tax for a month will cost a max of about £20, probably a lot less as even my old gas guzzler was £20. Worth doing so you can move it and as above worth getting MOT done.

Is it worth doing the MOT if she is going to try sell to Toyota? Surely MOT is only really of value to a private sale.

Do WBAC reduce price for no/limited MOT?
Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.

Not sure. In my experience garages have either only asked whether the car has an MOT, regardless of length, or advised that there is no point in my renewing the MOT as they won't increase their offer.

Book it in for an MOT, get a friend with DOC cover to take it and drop in WBAC on the way back. A car with a years MOT will always be worth a significant amount more.

The price difference was £90. £5750 or £5660. I'd rounded the figure to the nearest hundred in my first post as they want a £74.99 documents fee!

Not being taxed does not mean it's uninsured.
But it is that too. :(

That is the stance from the Toyota garage, with an offer of £5200. I don't know how much the WBAC offer would fall based on scratched alloys, sticking brakes (it has stood unused for 4 months ).

Definitely worth getting it taxed and on the road then - gives you a chance to get the rust of the brakes, and then you can try and sell it privately.
