NTK from CPM

I have received a Parking charge notice from UK Car park Management through the post but did not see a windscreen sticker on my car at the time. The letter includes a picture of the front of the car mainly of the windscreen including both wipers but no sign of the attached notice, is this grounds for appeal as I understand the charge without a windscreen sticker must be sent within 15 days.

Or would I be better off following the advice for appeals set out in the other threads.

Thanks for any advice.

yes treat this as a ANPR ticket , as no ticket was on the car , if its over 14 days between the offence and the first letter , then they have lost the ability to chase the owner , and must seek out the driver , follow the leads/templates on the newbies thread , but in your case its an ANPR ticket that has been received late
  • Thanks for the advice, it does say on the letter the payment is overdue so I assume they either made a mistake and didnt leave a windscreen notice or the notice had been removed before I got back to the car. The bit that puzzles me is why they would include a close up picture of the windscreen with no ticket.

Just trying to scare you with if's and but's and maybe's and big red letters.

Send 1st appeal off as it is in the newbie sticky...This is dead easy with UKCPM I have a load of the templates printed off ready to go. They will respond to the standard template with their own standard template which I can assure you is ALL bull****. All you need is the POPLA code. Check it (Google = POPLA code checker) is valid as ive had them make a few errors with mine. Then submit an appeal to POPLA. Any will do, copy and paste the one in my threads.

PS. You have been 'ghosted' as I believe its called. Its a common practice, seemingly more so with UKCPM, where they try to get more money from people as the first they hear about the ticket (like you and me) is when they get the NTK, or the lease company send you a letter (and sometimes pay it on your behalf). Some of my photos have the tickets but I never got them, some of them dont have tickets on the screen. Either way, appeal and cost them £30-something.
