Advice needed

Hi,
I have a couple of points I need advice on, relates to a PCN served in Scotland which I've refused so far to pay as 1) I was not the driver and 2) I can't be made to name the driver.
Today I have been threatened that they can make me name the driver in court, and that any court action by them will seriously affect my credit rating.
Any advice gratefully recieved

Report them to trading standards. Which PPC and who has threatened you?0

Hi,
No letter I'm afraid, threat was in phone call, and CAB couldn't answer my two points, that's when I ended up here.0 -
a phone call from DR+? , was it to your mobile0

No, I called them, wanted it dealt with quickly as I was mad at them, and to restate the points I've already made in writing, to go away and stop their harassment. Having read the other posts in this forum I can see how they operate now.0

do not ring or write to them , they will twist your words , you only have to let slip that you were the driver and they can then get you in court ,
file any more letters and stop worrying
the Scottish courts are now starting to fill with cases , trading standards (etc) v PPC , its going to get messy and cost a few a lot of pennies
one letter , and one only written , and followed up by email , sent 1st class with proof of postage (free from PO) stating the debt between yourself and PPC is disputed , and to hand all files back to PPC and not contact you again
DO NOT ring them , and do not admit to driving0 -
Thanks for your advice, much appreciated0
