Hopefully they won't mind if my mum and her friend go, as as some of you know my mum had a heart attack several months ago, and deserves this type of pampering. Thats why i entered.

It really would make her year!

Thank you again kipper, i'm so pleased as its a rather expensive prize when you add up the accomodation at over £100 for the night and the day experiences are over this each too....so am really chuffed!

Do you think they'll let me let her go? if not i'll go and take her as a guest, but her friend is very deserving too so hopefully they can both go and enjoy it together.

p.s - i'm keeping the book:rotfl:

thanks again kipper - fingers crossed this wil make my mum smile

    Well done, sassi.:D
Hope your mum really enjoys it
  • WOWEE!!! Fabulous prize.
I am sure that when the magazine contact you, you will be able to let your Mum and her friend go in your place, if you explain to them. If they say no (and I'm sure that they wouldn't) get her to act as you...ie sign for everything in your name!!
What a lovely and thoughtful gesture this is from you. She is a lucky woman to have a Daughter like yourself.
You deserve a lovely break yourself (from your signature) and I am sure that the powers that be, will look after you.

Wow Sassi - what a lovely prize. and what a lovely gesture for you to let your mum and her friend go. (sometimes sites award the prize in the way of vouchers so then there wouldn't be a problem)

Hope you don't mind me mentioning but I notice the prize includes a 'full body massage'. I know in some cases certain massages aren't suitable for people with a history of heart problems - so make sure your mother checks with her doctor whether massage could be a problem or not. I should imagine a pampering break doesn't involve a 'vigorous' massage :D but far better safe than sorry.

Hope they have a lovely and relaxing time.

Thanks for your lovely replies - i'll be sure to find out about the massage.

The magazine are passing my details on to Champneys and they are going to contact me directly, so i should be able to explain to them about wanting my mum to go in my place, fingers crossed!

    thanks again all
