cpp totally shafted me

I'm at wits end and dont know what to do. i received my claim form at my old address which i filled in and sent back. since then i have moved address and informed ccp of my new address. I've not heard from then since.

i called them today to find out whats happening only to be told that they didn't receive my form and now the time has elapsed for me to claim. totally gutted.

what can i do now

    Did CPP receive the change of address letter before the scheme closed?


    In some circumstances they will consider extending the time limits if you can supply evidence.

    I am no expert, however i wouldn't say they shafted you. They are just playing by the rules. They just claim they did not receive the form.

    I had a problem with my pension plan recently. My employer claimed they did not receive a form. They eventually co operated when I could prove that I posted it.

    If you sent it by email then is it in your sent items? If you sent it by post then did you send it special delivery.

    That is not necessary - you only need proof of posting (which is free from the Post Office).
