Hi,

Does anybody have the phone number for the CORRECT department at Legal and General whom are handling this?

Roughly 2 years ago I made a PPI Claim re: Mortgage PPI I took out with AWD (which became Carrington Carr). After a period of time I contacted them again and was told i'd been successful and they had an offer for me, I discussed with someone regarding the £2000ish lifetime advice fee i'd payed being refunded also (I called AWD after the 2 years for renewal, they said stick with same company, the following year they didn't contact me, and I discovered that they'd gone bust). I was told that I could have half the fee back / L&G would continue to cover me with advice or some such, honouring it.... I was told i'd receive a letter from them, I got no letter, and I contacted them again, this time the guy (different guy) told me i'd been made no such offer re: the Fee, but that the PPI + Interest stood... i've said and waited for another year and recieved no letter. I cannot find the initial correspondence, I cannot contact them... over the past year every other month i've made calls and gone round in circles. Can anyone help please?

Oh - they actually made an offer for a full refund, I just need to accept the damn thing, but I dont have a means to do so!

Why don't you just complain to L&G again with a new complaint, making sure that the claims company contract has been cancelled.......

I don't think there was a claims company. I suggest the OP goes direct to FOS.
