Demands for payment for my mum at my address

Hi,
We received a demand from a debt collection agency for a well known mobile provider. It was addressed for my mother in our address, she doesn't and never has lived with us.
She is an OAP and has never had any credit apart from her mortgage.
The first letter i returned to sender stating no one of that name lived here. Now we have received another with this on the front of the envelope...
"Only to be opened by the addressee, private and confidential"
I don't want to bother her about this if i don't have too but i might have too.
What are my next steps please?
Cheers

I'd personally be ringing them if you are 100% sure she never took anything out and telling them to do one and stop with the letters.0

Technically if she doesn't live at the address and never has then you were, and still are right to return to sender as person not know to be at the address.
It may be worth calling them and stating that you have received letters for a person who doesn't live at the address without giving too much away and see what they have to say; you could do it on the pretence that you have returned previous letters and that you want them to stop sending further letters; which again would actually be the truth.
It could be that someone has acted fraudulently and used your mothers name and your address to obtain a contract.
If I were you I would also check my credit records to make sure that no contracts/credit is registered against you. You may need to do the same for your mother, but how you approach the subject will depend on how she is likely to react, you could just tell it's good practice to check these things every now and then.0 -
Hi, I can't easily find a template to inform them to !!!!!! off. Can someone please point me in the right direction?

Why not call them.
First of all Id find out for sure your mum hasn't used your address, might be unlikely but no harm in checking.
No need for a template
Dear sirs
I have been receiving letters for a Mrs D Cartwheel (insert other name) who doesn't reside at this address. Can you desist in sending these letters address to (above name). If they persist to be sent I will invoice you £100 (or other amount) for my time.
Maybe add you will give them 8 weeks or you will go to the ombudsman if its not sorted.0
