Basically i have only just started claiming jsa ( i havent actually had a payment yet ). After my mum died myself and my 2 sisters were left a third each of her house which we rent out. My share is £177 a month. I never even thought about it to be honest as when i did all the forms online and sat down in front of the person doing the interview at the job centre no one has mentioned anything about actual income they just ask are you working ect ect.
Where do i stand with this? Really dont want to get in to trouble over it.
Cheers

Contribution based JSA is given for six months and is only dependent on having paid enough contributions, no matter how much other money there is. After that you can only get income based when the money is taken into accountLost my soulmate so life is empty.
I can bear pain myself, he said softly, but I couldna bear yours. That would take more strength than I have -

Many thanks for reply, im definately on contribution based as my wife works so i would not get income based.
Was just worried i would need to say about the £177 rental income i have coming and wondered if they would deduct that from my money each fortnight. But if im ok for 6 months i should be able to get back in to work long before then.
Thanks again0
