Any experience with Nigel O'Hara?

Hi there, Not sure whether I am panicking too much or not.

I have placed an order with Nigel O'hara today morning.
That was LCD Screen for £570. 20% Depoist + 6 0% APR Payments.

Purchased on Nigel O Hara web, credit done by pay4later.com

I have been charged 20%. Got all agreements. It says on the web that order will be despatched between 27/08-02/09.
Thats fine.

In the meantime I have read so many bad reviews about this store.
I didnt release that there are so many problems with Nigel O Hara.
I ve read that there people waiting for weeks and weeks for items or refund.

Please advice me how I can cancell my order? Should I cancel it or just wait til 02/09 and when nothing happen cancell it then?

I have also read in agreement that I have two weeks to cancel my credit agreement.

I was also told by pay4less that I have to speak first to Nigel O Hara, request a cancel then speak to them.

Not sure what to do? Any advice? any previous experience with Nigel O Hara?

Thank you.

I purchased a watch from them 18 months ago. Yes, it was a week later than they said it would be, but it was nearly half price when no other seller had any reduction on that style. For that level of discount I was prepared to risk it and I wasn't in any rush.

Thanks for you reply. From your message I can understand that they not scammers but I need a bit of patience to actually receive my item?

It says there that my delivery might take up to two weeks from yesterday. I might wait two weeks and see if my goods will arrive.

Dont need to panic now right?

I just thought that they might do not send anything and I will end up paying that 6x payments at 0% APR for nothing.

I've used them, but my item was a £11 router (normally £30 elsewhere). They missed their despatch date, but did email me in advance twice to inform me, offering chance to cancel plus a £5 voucher), giving me a new despatch date that was a couple of weeks away. As it was, they dispatched within a couple of days of their original date, item was brand-new, shiny, working.

I think they cut margins to the bone, and maybe aren't quite clear enough about their business strategy, but they do what they say they do. I have seen (some) complainants who are griping because they had unfair expectations, or hadn't read what the intended delivery was... others may have had valid complaints.

I'd happily use them again - but I'm unlikely to splash out £570 on a screen, 'cos I'm a cheapskate. That's why I hang out here :D

I'd say not scammers, reasonable service, maybe cut service costs a little too hard.

did you pay your deposit by credit card? If so and the item does not arrive, use the S 75 system to recover your deposit.

I have paid for my deposit 20% = £113 ish by DEBIT CARD

Am I secured somehow when I have paid by Debit Card?

Also what If my item wont be send and Nigel Ohara will not reply to my email? Should I contact pay4later.com and explain all of it to them? As they have borrowed me some money on 0% APR.

ps. when I paid 20% depoist my money went to pay4later not to Nigel Ohara.
    Thank you

Thats very kind. I feel secure now. Lets wait for two weeks and see how things going. I will tell you whether I receive my item or not.
If not then you will help me to get my money back.

    Thank you guys!

But relax.... and wait.... As far as I can see (and I did follow the couple of threads on it posted here), most complainants really hadn't followed/weren't willing to wait.
