Bathroom places Hornchurch

Options
Hello everyone,

This is a bit of a long shot I guess, however, I'm wondering if anyone has any recommendations for bathroom shops which would serve the Hornchurch area. That's Essex/East London approximately.

I have one place coming (this evening actually) but I want others for comparison. At the moment I'm just having a look on Google but there's not a huge amount of reviews to go on really :/

Any help or suggestions much appreciated

I suspected I may not get too much of a response, failing that, how does one go about selecting a bathroom place - is there some magic site with tons of reviews? - Most places I've looked at don't seem to have much/any reviews. Oh for something like Trip Advisor for Bathroom showrooms!

It's difficult. A lot of places only supply and only recommend fitters whereas we wanted a one stop shop.

If you go for a one stop shop then prepared for the quote to be at least twice what you expect it to be.

Bathrooms refurbishments are much more expensive than kitchens and it is very difficult to find a good bathroom fitter.

If you can't get recommendations, all you can do is go by how long they have been trading and assume that that if they were rubbish they wouldn't have lasted 5 years plus. Also, check out their accounts on Companies House and pay at least part on a credit card. Only the bigger ones will accept credit cards and are likely to be more expensive.

Don't go for any of the big national chains as they don't have a local reputation to keep and you have no idea who their fitters will be. However, even with an independent, you are relying on them having decent fitters.

We have had one quote come in. It was expensive but there you go, I thought it would be. I just want at least another couple of comparisons. I guess it's just not something people review compared to say a hotel or restaurant. Despite spending about 200 times as much!
  • Why not take a look at your local retailer then shop online, such bigger savings to be made and most online bathroom shops stock everything you need these days :)
