Transfering money to UK. Need advice.

Good Afternoon,
My wife has her savings in Kazakhstan and need those transfered to UK.
The only way she can do this now is to withdraw the money from UK TVM and put the cash in to her current account in Barclays.
Her Kazakh bank charges 1.2% of the amount + around £1.50 per withdrawal.
The ATMs only allow to withdraw £500 at the time.
Unfortunately making the transfer via SWIFT is not an option as her Kazakh bakn requiers for you to be phisically in the branch to make a transfer aabroad. Hence she is here and has no plans going there this is not an option.
Her bank charges much lower fee of around 0.1% if she buys something with her debit card here so I was thinking of if there could be an option the money could get to UK via debit card payment.
Not sure if you have a prepaid card like those for going abroad on holidays if this card could be topped up by FOREIGN credit card.
Any advice will be much appreciated.

1.2% +£1.50 is very good, but I think you are mistaken.
0.1% looks too good to be true too.
Even if some UK prepaid card allows topping up with a foreign card, all UK banks will charge ~3% for the conversion. Then I don't know any prepaid card that doesn't charge a flat fee for withdrawals in UK.0 -
Information from the British Embassy in Almaty: https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/256236/Banks_and_Money_transfer-Kazakhstan.pdf
Although this might only apply to British citizens. There might be other obligations for Kazhak citizens.
There are also obligations for bringing cash into the UK: https://www.gov.uk/bringing-cash-into-uk0 -
