IVA and Student Bank accounts

I am in my final year of my IVA and I am about to start university
Do you think I can apply for a student bank account??

    Whilst credit scoring for student accounts is generally a bit more relaxed than for a current account - the internal score cards are different as those applying might not have had credit beforehand; you will still be credit checked for it.

    From experience of working within retail banking, I'd be inclined to state you'd be rejected for a 'full' account but might be accepted for a basic account.

    Also, you need to ask your IVA practitioner about applying for further credit.
