Very long story short
after an alert from mse energy club i decided to look at changing supplier, so i checked my bank statements to see how much per month i pay. I couldnt find any payments?? so i tried to log into my energy account, no joy. Checking emails I found the one from coop saying they where changing there billing system and online accounts, and i need do nothing as they would handle everything including changing direct debit requests where needed. so i left them too it. Anyway i managed to log into the account, I am over £1500.00 in arrears!!!!!
They have listed my email, phone, mobile and address!
God knows how im going to pay this.
And yes i realise that i should have known but the whole point of direct debbit is click and forget!!

    Is the £1500 for a year ??
Does it tie in with your normal bills .
Have you entered meter readings monthly or are they click and forget ??

does anybody have the email address of the ceo?
  • The information on Co-op Energy's website is extremely unreliable at the moment, as you will discover if you read the other Co-op Energy threads which are currently active on this forum. Co-op Energy's customer service is currently non-existent, and an email to the CEO will almost certainly get you nowhere at all. Your best hope is that Co-op Energy have lost your records altogether, but it would be very risky to assume that that is what has happened.

Try to track down as much history as you can, starting from the date when you became a Co-op customer. Do you have any bills which they issued? Can you search your bank statements to find out how much in total you have paid, and when they stopped taking payments? Do you have any history of meter readings?
