Cool email addresses

Many years ago when I first started on the internet I set up 2 email accounts, one was myname@budweiser.com and the other was myname@cbgbs.com, both these sites no longer host email, I have had a look around but cant find any current cool ones.

Anyone have ideas of any ?

Some years ago my son bought the domain rsehole.com in order to set up a few funny emails. I had yuran@rsehole and had been playing around with it.

I had an email from Norfolk trading standards about a complaint concerning a caravan site advertising on my website and accidentally used that as my reply email. Ooops. I don't think the bloke actually noticed though.

Go to mail.com and have a look at the range they have available. It's a webmail service with lots of good addresses available (look at the drop-down menu on the sign-in page).

I suspect if you can't get a good one there you'll never find one.

Not really what Im after, @budweiser.com was run by Budweiser and @cbgbs.com was run by CGBGs club in New York.
I was hoping for something like @jackdaniels.com or @mtv.com or something like that.

What are you hoping to do? Do you want to make it appear that you work for a large company? Or do you just want to provide free advertising by using a trademarked domain name?

I just want a email addy thats not the run of the mill @gmail or @live type address, I used the @budweiser and @cbgbs ones for quite a while but both companies stopped the service a few tears back.

  • Have a look at freeola.com/freeola500/full-free-email-addresses.php

You might find something suitable under the "Lifestyle and interests" category.

I don't understand how you expect to get something that has value (to you, at least) without paying. The only alternative to that would be to permit a flood of "targeted advertising".
A domain name and hosting costs - what - around £25 per year? That's less than 7p per day.

I know it's not money saving but sometimes, if you really want something, you have to pay. So, having established that, what's the cheapest way to get a domain name and email hosting? Maybe we can get it down to £15 per year.

Here's one at £20 but you only get 100MB. http://www.betterwebspace.com
