Wesleyan Home insurance any good?

Hi I have just had a reasonable quote for my house insurance from the Wesleyan. It is a bit cheaper than my normal insurance company but it comes with a lot of extras for the price...
for example, emergency call out, key care, identity theft insurance and more..
Has anyone any experience with this company?
I usually go with the AA. I have made 2 claims in the past and they have paid up with no fuss.
thanks

Like the AA they are a broker not an insurance company.
Unlike the AA they appear to be selling fairly standard products hence have different wordings depending on the insurer selected whereas the AA have common wording across all insurers.
I dont know them but at a guess based on the above all claims matters will be dealt with directly by the insurer so other than fees and customer service the broker has little input on what really matters with the policy.0 -
thank you for the reply.
They offered a fair price for the insurance and I asked to think about it. I have been 'hounded' ever since.
I had 5 phone calls this morning from Wesleyan... I put the phone on silent as it wasn't convenient to talk. Eventually I blocked the number on the house phone. 2 hours later the agent phoned from a different number and I picked up the phone. He wants me to pay and then cancel if the policy isn't suitable.
I asked for his number so that I can call him if I decide to take up the insurance but he said that he would call me later in the week.
I am feeling very agitated by him.... why on earth didn't I tell him to stop phoning.....
Awful behaviour!
