RingGo parking app

Hi, newbie here!, this is my first thread, so hope you can all help me with this.
I park in the same carpark everyday for work and pay for an all day ticket with my RingGo app. I have this app set up to email receipts of every parking fee for tax purposes. I have now just received a PCN, but lucky for me I had the email receipt, so I just emailed this with a scan of the PCN and thought job done! I have now received a letter stating that the receipt shows payment 2 hours after I parked, so the PCN is valid. Now what I don't understand is that if I paid for a full day and the maximum you can pay, how can I have a PCN? I could understand if I only paid a partial parking fee for 3 or 4 hours, but my fee says 12 hours 7am to 7pm. The letter states I can appeal to the IAS, but reading your threads on here, I'm not sure this will help. They have also said that if I do appeal the reduced payment offer will be unavailable, basically if I complain I pay more! Any advice on my next step?

Appeal to IAS. See what they reject your appeal with, because they will.
Wait for court papers and show you paid. Is there any wording on the signs at the park to show that what you did was not acceptable?0
