How to replace water pump Vauxhall Corsa?

My water pump has gone and I'm attempting to fix it myself. Can get the part for a tenner, but any DIY guides on how to do this?

Great. Have you got the tools, the space to do it and a known, good source of parts (plus antifreeze of course)? £60 sounds like a homer price to me and grab it if he is good.

£60 is pretty good considering you have to support the engine and remove the mounting bracket. Also Vauxhall use torx bolts so you will need those so lets plus 1/2 or 3/8 ratchet. If you have the tools then great. Otherwise snatch garages hand off.

I'm not sure I'd go to the hassle of getting my hands dirty for the sake of £60.

Depending on engine type it could be a chain.

If the OP gave the impression that he knew what he was doing then fair enough but, to me, he doesn't & to get the job done professionally for £60 is a no brainer IMO

Personally I would pay someone else to do it especially for 60 questions and I'm a keen car diyser it's not a bad job but you do need to support engine block to remove it.
