• PE will pursue you to POPLa , in the hope as being a member of the "general public" you will !!!! this up , think they are right "coz POPLa said so" , you will then pay up.

they will not take this to court

1: there signage (1 hr 20 mins) is incorrect , and just a made up number that has been formulated to maximise the income on this site.

2: even after searching thru older cases , I am struggling to see any Aldi cases , and it has been hinted on here and other sites , that Aldi will not sanction court cases

fight your ground , cost them £27 , and after you have won pass this info onto your friends

  • I have been asked to post this here by somebody over on PePiPoo:-

Ok Guys, this is a self help posting, today I spoke to a lady at parking eye who guarantees to get any PE parking chargelink3.gif, even at court stage cancelled if you are able to demonstrate you are a customer, I challenged her that not every one keeps till receipts, she told me there are a number of ways to determine shopper status and asks that if anyone has a PE charge to ring her department direct line on 0179 38 36 31 3

They are keen that no customer suffers, which means they only "penalise non customers"

Aldi are now posting this up on their Facebook page:-

We understand that some of you have recently had a negative experience with the company that manage many of our car parks. We’d like to assure you that if any customer feels they have received a charge unfairly, they can get in touch with us by either emailing us on customer-services@aldi.co.uk or by sending us a private message here on our Page and we’ll look into each appeal on a case by case basis. Thanks again for getting in touch!

don,t forget to hammer there faceache page!!!

If the council wanted this to be a 3 hour park, and PE are trying to extract money from people staying longer than 80 minutes, then surely this will be of interest to local media, the council, Trading Standards, (but only in writing), and a complaint to the SRA that PE's in house legal adviser should know about this.
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.
