Paris accommodation advice

Hi all,

Next year my mum celebrates a significant milestone (well two actually) and I'm looking to take her for a long weekend to Paris.
My question is, can you recommend a site to look at apartments for rent? I'm looking to find a two bedroom (or one bed with a sofa bed in a separate living room). I've not looked for this kind of accommodation before and searches on places like hotels.com weren't really helpful.

Thanks in advance

Air BNB and Housetrip are the two we have used.

Be aware that your contract technically is directly with the owner of the property and not the website. If something goes wrong, and it does seem fairly rare that it does, the sites dont seem to provide that much assistance based on stories on here.

That said, the times we've used it there have been no problems at all
  • There are lots of websites to help for finding accommodation in Paris. You may try house trip and Trip advisor for get best accommodation with all facilities and amenities near your apartments....

We stayed in an apartment last year.

The place (and there are several dotted around) are purpose built holiday apartments (along with residential).

The name is Citadines and you can see them via booking.com.

The one we stayed in was a short way (change an overground metro) from the centre of Paris. They had private underground parking and a fully staffed reception, breakfast area (if you wanted their breakfast).

It had a separate bedroom with a sofa bed in the lounge area, small kitchen area and spacious bathroom.

We would happily stay in one again.

Can't remember where ours was exactly, there were a few restaurants and bars around and a few bakeries for those early morning fresh croissant purchases along with a few food markets.

There are more than one spread around and my search on booking revealed two.

You can search for holiday apartments Paris which will bring up quite a few. You need to decide where and what amenities you require and how much you are prepared to spend. Be carefull a sixth floor apartment with no lift is quite a lot of steps. Decide which areas you are likely to visit and try to base yourself close by. We used to let our apartment through Feelslikehomeinparis and recently used trip advisor renting a one bed near Bastille, any further questions just ask.
