In reply to Nikki, what type of powder do you use. And what quantity?

    Thanks

I use whatever is on offer when I'm buying or lidl own - I have a little plastic scoop and just chuck it in - amount varies on how much and what is being washed!

Think of a twin tub, where would you put the powder? A washing machine is no different to a twin tub on its side. ;)

  • Have always put the powder directly in the drum, never had any issues.

On quite a number of caravan sites with laundry rooms you find that you have no option but to put the powder (or whatever you are using) straight into the drum with the clothes.

A number of people have advocated using a liquid. No problem with that but remember that, unlike the powders designed for whites, liquids do not contain a bleaching agent so will not give as good a result.

Powder, keep it dry now. In drum. Close door. Switch on. Bingo. No mess.
