Turkey (Bodrum area) in October

Hi all,
Booked a cheapy AI to Turkey last night for 15-22 October.
The route is only flown up to 29 October so it is very near the end of season - although not the last week - and I just wondered whether anyone else has been this time of year and whether there will still be things going on?
We are mostly just wanting to just chill out somewhere hotter than here after a pretty manic 6 months, so we don't want a lot of things to do but just hoping there will be options for cloudy days and the evenings really.
Hoping it's not too late in the season to enjoy!

It'll still be warm in October, with plenty to do to fill your time.
The Bodrum Peninsula is beautiful, and easy to do your own thing on public transport [Dolmus].
Here's a brief JBR I posted after our trip in May last year...

things will definitely be winding down for the season, but you'll still find bars, restaurants, and shops open in all the resorts, and there will still be boat trips and other excursions available.0

Plenty of people in Bodrum at the moment doing DIY boat trips across to KosChange is inevitable, except from a vending machine.0 -
Bodrum is a working town so it is open all year. There should still be boat trips if the weather is good and the rest of the trips will run until the end of the month.
You can also explore the Bodrum peninsula on your own by jumping on a dolmus (mini bus) they go all over with nowhere more than about 30 minutes away.
Weather should be nice but it can get a bit chilly at night.
Shopping is good that time of yera, you can get some real bargains, especially in the markets.
I used to live out in Bodrum, it really is lovley.
Where are you staying?0
