Amazon and the missing tablet!

I ordered a tablet for DD's birthday, the parcel arrived yesterday, so I went to check that it was ok before I wrapped it up for her birthday on Friday and it wasn't there, no charger or wires either, just a few bits of paper in the box :mad::mad::mad:

I immediately phoned Amazon to vent my displeasure and was met with a lovely man, who apologised profusely, said that he would start an investigation and gave me a refund, but as I told him it was a birthday present he said to re-order while he was on the phone and he would give me free next day delivery, which I did. It arrived at 9am and yes everything was there.

I've heard good and bad things about the customer service - it seems however that when its a good thing, it's a really good thing.
