Euros from credit card

Options
Hi all,
Can anyone tell me the cheapest way to get euros from my MBNA credit card in this country? Is it cheaper to transfer money from my MBNA into my bank account and withdraw cash to change into euros?
Thanks

MBNA will charge you a cash advance fee in either event - I assume of the same amount

So it depends on whether the BdeC you use charges you a fee for using a CC (just about all will) and how that fee relates to the markup when changing cash £ into euros

Difficult to avoid the cash advance fee from MBNA/interest from date of transaction. But after that, if you are near Gatwick or Heathrow (or perhaps a few other places) you can get Euros cash at pretty much the interbank rate without further charge. Otherwise changing GBP cash to EURO cash in the UK is usually painfully expensive.
