We're off to Liverpool for a long weekend. Does anyone have any recommendations for good, cheerful, down-to-earth restaurants near Albert Dock please?

    Miller & Carter is the best restaurant in the Albert Dock.

    Not Albert Docks but for tapas I like Lunya in Liverpool One (opposite the BBC)

    I like Gusto. The Pump House pub also does okay food. If you want a treat go to the Thai one at the Pier head, Matou. There are also loads and loads of places to eat in Liverpool One and i also like the Hub, Hanover Street social and Salt House Tapas
