Military days out with the kids

Do you have any suggestions on military themed days out with the kids this summer?
Would be great to get the kids involved in some military history and wondering if you guys have any suggestions and recommendations on the best places out there?

Again too late for this year but Bournemouth do a three day "tri-service" event along the beach front.

Added bonus is its free! Last year they had hoped to have the two Lancasters flying, before the Canadian one blew an engine. This year will see one of the last Vulcan flying displays.

Loads of stuff to see and do.
