i've just checked online and the original registered plates on old car is now valid, t&t
her current cars reg plate now shows invalid and the private reg plate shows invalid on either car, so touch wood something is happening with it.

current original reg on her new car now valid, she called dvla friday and her private plate showing not even existing anywhere on the system?
today the dealer called to say he's just got a letter to say the reg is now on retention in his name?
he's said he'll "gift" it over but who paid the retention fee?
wife certainly didn't sign any such paperwork, her cheque of £80 to transfer not been cashed as yet.
