Cancel New Policy to Get Quidco Discount?

Hi
I took out car insurance with Esure on Friday. It was only about £212 for fully comp.
I am paying monthly, and have made an initial payment to them.
I have just seen that you can get a discount if you take out Esure car insurance via Quidco:
http://www.quidco.com/esure-car-insurance/
Should I cancel my policy (I believe there is a cooling off period), and then re-apply via Quidco, or could there me some 'unforeseen issues'?
Thanks

Thanks RS65. I signed up only on Friday, and I think there is a '14 day cooling off period.'
Im not sure however how Esure would react, if I cancelled under the cooling off period, then reappeared trying to claim the Quidco discount.
Cheers

There is, but there is still a £26 fee applicable during the cooling off period0 -
You have 14 days from the date you receive your Policy Booklet, Schedule and Certificate of Motor Insurance if you are a new customer or from your renewal date if you are an existing customer to tell us that you want to cancel the policy and to return your Certificate of Motor Insurance to us.
As long as no incidents have arisen which could result in a claim under your policy, we will refund the premium you have paid, less the administration fee, to take account of our costs in providing your policy.
The administration fee is detailed in your Schedule.
It looks like normal Quidco cashback rather than a discount. You don't claim it - you are either entitled or you are not.
The Quidco page says Cashback is available to new customers only
You are an existing customer.0 -
Oh well, think I'll give this plan a miss. Bit of bummer though...
Cheers
