Hi,
I've bought a new (to me) car and it only has one set of car keys, I was wondering how easy it would be (and how much it would cost) to get a master set made for the car?
Thank you

Anything from a few quid to several hundred pounds. Perhaps it would be better if you told us what car you have bought.0

IIRC, from when I used to own a Honda civic, spare keys were quite expensive and only available from the dealer. Things may have changed of course but if not you could be looking at a 3 figure sum. Might be worth a call to your local dealer in the first instance.0

When we needed a new key for our Mazda 2, it cost £250 including programming and we could only get it done at an authorised dealer.Be Kind, Work Hard, Stay Humble, Smile Often, Keep Honest, Stay Loyal, Travel When Possible, Never Stop Learning, Be Thankful Always and Love0

Go to Timpson (usually co-located at Tesco)
My last two cars only had one key - 'coded' keys which operate the c/locking and start the car were £35 for the Focus (2 years ago) and £40 for the Megane (1 month ago).
The older the car/model, the cheaper the key: at worst they'll still be less than half the dealer price.

Timpsons are a bad idea, you end up with a cloned key which if lost or stolen can't be removed from the cars immobiliser memory as it would stop the remaining key from starting the car.0
