Yesterday I was issued a pcn. I am going to appeal but am worried that if I appeal and am unsuccessful I will be charged £100 instead of £60. Can anyone advise. Thanks

I disagree , a PPC can be a member of both trade associations, one as a corporate member and one whereby they use the appeals process of that member
so they are members of both trade bodies, but use the IPC for appeals (the kangaroo court)
doesnt matter if the alleged debt is £60 , £100 , or £1000 , only a judge can decide if the invoice is valid and what any charge should be
so if the OP wins in court (if it goes that far), the charge is zero and they could get say £90 in expenses etc (for example)
until it goes to court and there is a judgment, the charge is zero pounds0 -
that is your opinion , and no they are not AOS members but that does not stop them being CORPORATE members (which is what I stated)
other members on here have repeatedly mentioned that some companies are members of both trade bodies and the clue is in the icons they use on their websites
if I remember correctly, the rectangular icon shows they are corporate members, and the roundel shows which appeals process they use
so they can be members of both bodies (hence the 2 rectangular icons on the Excel website) and yet only use one appeals system (hence the one AOS roundel icon on the website)
we all know that Excel use the IPC appeal system called the IAS, so if you have a beef about these logos and icons etc its not relevant to what the OP has posted about, but a different issue altogether
frankly, I dont get your argument but there again its not of any relevance either to me or the OP, it is what it is and I dont believe you are correct in stating that its fraudulent or an offence, but if it is then report them and let the authorities deal with it
either way, its irrelevant to the case put by the OP and your opinions on this aspect should be in a separate discussion thread, of that I am sure, as sure as the logo issue I explained which I think Bazster clarified some time agol Excel are not members of the BPA according to the BPA members list, although Excel claims to be on their website.
This is an offence in itself. Are you recognised by any Professional bodies?
Excel Parking Services is CCAS registered and recognised by the BPA.0
