I'm looking to get both the driver and passenger front seats replaced. Does anyone have an experience of using a company to do this? Ideally they'll be located in/near London but happy to travel further afield if required.
Thanks
Whats the car and what are you changing the seats to seats out of?
Not usually a big job to swap seats.0 -
depends what extra safety features are built into the seats like airbags seat belt tensioners fixings etc, your insurance would be voided if insurer not informed of change and its easy for insurer to avoid after the event, tread carefully or better still sit down and contemplate first:D0

They could be a like for like replacement because of worn out front seats?
O/P needs to tell us more0 -
That's correct - I'm looking to replace the existing seats because they've worn out. Happy to go for a like-for-like replacement or perhaps a similar/better non-OEM version. I'm really just looking for a company who will supply and fit the seats at this stage so I can see what my options are. Can anyone recommend a specialist company who can do this?0

Just get a set from a scrap/used parts dealer and specify that the seats should be in good condition. Plenty of places on the Internet that do this and of you look hard enough you could probably get a like for like set of a low milage car.
Aftermarket seats will be a real PITA come insurance renewal time as your car will be modified and the insurance company will probably think you're a bit of a boy racer with a modification like that.0 -

+1
Get a couple out of a scrap yard, and get them professionally cleaned before fitting.
Shouldnt be difficult to get someone to fit them - competent body shop or decent mechanic.
I'd be looking for a like for like replacement, so you dont run in to issues with airbags / connectors, etc.0
