Well I would say you can't take them back as faulty, but try at a customer services desk. If I were you I would accept Tesco vouchers in return if they offer them.

Under SOGA, if they are faulty, the retailer can repair, replace or refund at their discretion-no automatic right to a replacement. However, there is no evidence that they are faulty.
But under Tesco own returns policy, tablets bought via Tesco Direct are returnable up to 14 days from delivery, so that's your get-out.

I wouldn't quite class that as a get out as Tesco take advantage of the diminished value section provided by the CCRs which enables them to deduct from the refund an amount to account for the diminished value of the goods.

Also to note that if the goods were faulty, the OP would be able to insist on a refund (although not a replacement) and wouldnt have to accept the retailers choice due to the short passage of time meaning acceptance hasnt taken place.

UPDATE: May 2015 As well as a price drop to £99, there are some other things to be aware of with the Hudl 2. First, some users have reported problems getting their Hudls to charge to 100 percent, or even to charge at all. Tesco says this affects a very small number of owners,
