Just came back from one of the stores and can't work out how they charged me. I bought a shirt reduced to £7 and a pair of trousers, also £7. The receipt shows £14 and then an entry for 29% discount, so I only got charged £9.94!

    Can anyone explain?

It may be that there was some sort of offer going on before the sale and that the till is still taking off a discount that it maybe shouldnt be doing.

There will be more redutions this coming Tuesday plus there will be another midseason sale in October, so Im told.

Popped into M&S today and was quite disappointed with the so called 'sale'. The best I made out with was buy one get one half price.

Divadee - hope this helps you find it?

    The 'T' number
On garment labels this number appears as T01 / 9876 / 1234. Please enter the T number and the last four digits, missing out the middle four, e.g. T011234. This number can also be found with products shown in leaflets, catalogues and the Marks & Spencer magazine.

Found this in the Quick Order section of the M+S site

Quick question about M&S and credit cards.

I have bought items online using my Amex credit card, if I have to return them can I still return them instore?

Any credit has to go back onto the original card will they be able to do this with Amex?

Anyone used any other credit cards apart from the M&S more credit card and returned items instore?

Yes, I've had refunds on Mastercard in-store for things bought on-line - no problem.

You will be refunded whatever way you paid, pay with card, refunded onto the card you paid with. M&S do take Amex in their stores, we take all methods of payments including cheques(one of the few left!!)

In the Newcastle store the cap sleeved tee-shirts are £1.50 but the vests are £1.

Final reductions now in store. Great bargains on school uniform. Jumpers 50p, trousers £1, and shirts 2 for £1. Womens' T shirts now 50p.
    Probably online as well.
