Form PA25 power of reservation

Can any one tell me where this can be downloaded for free, plenty of downloads available at various prices. In a bit of a hurry as the person concerned leaving the country very soon. Thanks in advance

If you are the person completing PA1 then all the other executor needs to do is to write you a leter simply stating the fact that they are not applying for probate but wish to retain power of reservation, and you then put down their details in section 6a of PA1.

Take the letter with you to the interview.

They don't do interviews any more - you can swear the oath at a solicitor. The oath paperwork includes a statement that you have notified any executors listed as powers reserved.

Did not know that, sounds like PA1 needs revising as it still asked for interview venue.

You can choose to go there or do oatht at Solicitor, but my letter said 2 week wait for appointments

I needed a 'Renunciation (Will) (Partners in the firm)' form and Winchester Probate Registry emailed it to me as an attachment.

Their autoresponder sent a message saying my email would be answered in 10 days, but they sent the form the next day and I had emailed late in the working day.

Was advised this morning that the wait at Winchester is more like six weeks.
