Random lump sum from EESA

Hi there, just wondering if anyone could shed some light...

I checked my online banking this evening and I have randomly been paid £1320.60 by EESA

I am awaiting for confirmation that I am unfit to work. I completed the application about 7 months ago. I underwent the assessment 4 weeks ago. I'm aware there has been a mistake of some sort.

I will be contacting them on Monday, but has this happened to anyone before?

Sounds like back pay to me.

It appears that you have been assigned a group and this is your back pay from the 14th week of your application. (13 weeks counted as assessment)

Don't spend it unti you get the letter!

Sometimes the payment is made before the letter arrives telling you which group you have been placed in.

Thank you, that makes sense...I thought they had paid me by mistake. I will wait for the letter to know for sure but thank you very much for your help
