Sorry - another W10 question. Not sure if this makes any difference, but is it necessary to uninstall or disable internet security before updating to W10 from 8.1

I have not had to disable MSE or the firewall to upgrade , there have been some reports that AVG needs a new version for win 10 , so its possible that this might !!!! up on you0

In my case it's mcafee which came pre-installed. I don't particularly want to get rid of it yet until after W10 install. Then I want to replace it with KIS, but I heard that Kaspersky have some issues with W100 -
KIS for W10 is not yet available in the UK. Is my understanding correct0

have not got a clue who or what "kis" is , but as you say its not available , then you have no choice.
if you have a key/licence for mcafee then delete it , revert back to the default Microsoft version , upgrade then re install mcafee0 -

There is a download available on their UK website for W10 users0 -
your question has now been answered , it is available.
however , if it will "!!!! up" an install is a different matter , why not just do as I suggested and revert back to the tried and tested , by Microsoft , during installs , default AV.
then you can waste money afterwards0
