Please can somebody tell me (in words of one syllable!) how to transfer all my photos onto my Samsung Galaxy Tablet from my Windows 7 laptop?
I have transferred my photos from camera onto laptop using Picasa, but cannot work out how to get them on my tablet.
Thanks.

Do you have a large number of photos? do you want them all on your Tablet? It may eat up a lot of your storage on the tablet.
With a google account you can upload the photos to google photos and use an App on your tablet to view these.
If you are keen to look at the photos on the tablet when you do not have a wireless connection to access Google Photos you could store them on a memory stick and connect it using an OYG (on the go adapter)
Or you could buy an OTG compatible memory stick
Here's a 32gb one available from Amazon for £11

What I'd really like to do is just copy them onto my tablet - there are about 1000, although many of them could easily be deleted as I don't particularly want to keep all of them, and probably only a few dozen I really want to transfer.
I have a mini SD card in my tablet with apparently 12GB storage available. Storage space available on the tablet is 7.94GB.
When I tried to "export" from Picasa to my tablet it is not showing as a drive.0 -
you may need a samsung software programme loaded on your laptop to enable you to transfer files from Laptop to Samsung - alternatively if you have an adapter you could use it to put the files onto your card

I upload all my pics to flickr so I can access from any device and also save to the other device if required. User friendly functionality.0

Since you have Google Picasa on laptop simply upload them to 'Google Photos'/sync to web
its free, no limit
open 'Google Photo's' App on your tablet
They will appear0 -
This way, no purchases required

If not too many photos to transfer, you could email copies to the email address set up on the tablet PC. Then save.0

Thanks everyone for helpful suggestions - I think I'll try the Google route, seems the most straight forward!0
