Appeal Won

Hi,
I just wanted to give encouragement to anyone thinking of appealing a PIP decision.
I was given 4 points for mobility but felt strongly that l should have got 8 points.
Despite being rejected by the DWP three times whatever l said, l took it to a tribunial.
The judge and panel were so nice to me , they made me feel completely at ease.
Result.....they had already decided in my favor.....8 points.
Very happy with that...backdated a year too.:T
So go for it...challenge a wrong decision, nothing to fear.

Thats fantastic, our appeal is currently being looked at. My wife scored 2 pointa for mobility despite the fact that she is paralysed from the waist down, cannot dress on her own, needs assistance in toileting, needs assistance washing and is unable to prepare food.
On the online calculator she has 19 points for daily living and 12 for mobility.0 -
The appeal system seems more fairer.0
