I use both Windows Live Messenger and Windows Messenger on a PC as I have more than one hotmail a/c to log onto MSN. But I am finding the simplified Windows Messenger shows the email addresses I log on in the drop down box.
There is nothing enabled to save these addresses and I dont have the same problem on the Live Messenger. I have tried clearing the history and cache to no avail.
The PC is used by other people too so anyone know how to clear the usernames from Windows Messenger? XP PC

Try -> Start, Run, "control userpasswords2".
This should bring up a dialog box. Select the "Advanced" tab and then click on the "Manage Passwords" button - you may be able to see the usernames in there to highlight and delete ?
